A week in the HAREM

Just returned from the most amazing week I had since the beginning of this year. A week in Istanbul.

Istanbul is a harem for expats. With so many amazing places opened at night Istanbul is a perfect place to "detox" from reserved Middle East. The city is full of young single people. Couples hugging and kissing each other can be seen publicly. Love is all around in Istanbul!

From trendy night clubs to restaurants on the Bosphorus Istanbul is a place to be if you like to have a good time.

1. A very sweet blog :)

2. Where are you from originally?

3. I can be very "intellectual" on the subjects that interest me: hockey, hockey, hockey and love... to hockey

4. Do you know what the domes of St Basil mean? The top one is Russia. The rest symbolize Russia's neighbours at the time of Ivan the terrible. It represents Russian domination.

1. thank you. you're so sweet :)
2. i'm a total mix of so many nationalities that i lost count of them already
3. unfortunately i have no interest in hockey... but i like winter sports. love skiing. even in dubai ;-)
4. as far as i know st basil is a symbol of LIBERATION of russia from the mongols. i wouldn't link such a beautiful cathedral to domination. but thanks for the history lecture:)

p.s. you have an interesting blog

@vibhanshu:
drag her, drag her there for sure! in addition to being the harem for single people istanbul is very romantic. a walk around the grand bazaar, the sights of the blue mosque, a boat ride on the bosphorus - the city is just meant for love!
